Samuel Adams Imperial White ....

Tonight I will have a Samuel Adams Imperial White, Wheat Ale Brewed with Spices, from The Boston Beer Company.  The twelve ounce bottle shows 10.3% ABV.  The web site lists IBUs at 15.

This beer poured with a small, beige head.  Beer color is a very cloudy, orange-ish yellow - heavy on the orange.  The aroma is sweet and has that smoothness you get from some higher alcohol "imperials".  Brown sugar, fruit, spices.  The taste is boozy, sweet, honey-like, with wheat, brown sugar and spices.  Very little aftertaste, but it leaves you with a little of the booze bite and spice.  Enjoyable.
