This beer poured with a small, yellowish tan colored head. Beer color is a dark ruby brown. The aroma is sweet, with a lot of stewed fruits, maybe some brown sugar. The taste has a good amount of molasses, with stewed fruit. The higher alcohol does not really stand out. There is a somewhat cloying sweetness to the aftertaste. Nice beer.
