Deep Ellum IPA ....

Tonight's beer is the IPA from Deep Ellum Brewing Company.  Twelve ounce bottle.  Looking at different sites on the Internet, they show 7% ABV and 70 IBUs.

This IPA poured with a small, very light beige head.  Beer color is a cloudy, golden yellow.  There is some fine sediment in the glass.  The aroma is primarily citrus - seems like oranges and grapefruit.  With the taste, the hops come rushing in with citrus, pine and a mouth drying bitterness.  Lemon really seems to stand out.  There is some sweet malt under there, but the hops dominate.  The aftertaste leaves you with a medium resinous bitterness.  A very hoppy IPA - I like!
