Ugly Pug poured with a thick, rich brown head. The beer color is a dark brown; one that lets through very little light when held up to a light. The aroma is primarily chocolate, and maybe a little brown sugar. Mild bodied. The taste is malty; with some chocolate, roasted malt, maybe a little coffee. A little sweetness towards the end. Seems a little thin in the mouth. Not a bad beer, but a little mild for my taste.
