Rahr Bucking Bock ....

Today I am trying another from Rahr & Sons Brewing Company - Bucking Bock.  The twelve ounce bottle describes the beer as a German-Style Spring Bock.  This is one of their seasonals that is available March-April.    The web site lists 7.5% ABV and 45 IBUs.

Bucking Bock poured with a VERY thick, creamy colored head.  The beer color is a darker gold.  The aroma has a lot of notes - bready wheat, some citrus and a little caramel sweetness.  The taste starts with some real malty sweetness.  Then you get some bready wheat followed by a little pepper/spice.  Medium bodied.  Not much aftertaste.  Tasty and interesting.
