Breckenridge Agave Wheat ....

Agave Wheat from Breckenridge Brewery will be today's sampling.  It is described as an unfiltered wheat ale, brewed with agave nectar.  The twelve ounce bottle shows 4.2% ABV.  The web site lists IBUs at 9.

Tonight's beer poured with a thick, almost white head.  The beer color is a nice cloudy gold.  There is some wheat aroma, but not as much as you might expect.  There is a little sweetness to the aroma as well.  Mild bodied.  Not a lot of strong wheat to the taste either.  A little spice and pepper.  Seems a little thin in the mouth.  Very little aftertaste.  This would be a good choice for those who like a milder beer - milder taste and lower alcohol make it very drinkable.
