This beer poured with a very thick, creamy colored head. The beer color is a golden honey. Aroma has some spice, earthy, maybe mild pine. The taste is malty, with some caramel and a bready quality. There is an underlying sour bitter note - it is not overly strong or unpleasant, but it has some bite. Medium bodied. Slight bitter aftertaste.
