Porter Pounder poured with a thick, very rich brown head. Beer color is a dark brown with some red highlights. Held up to the light, very little light shows through the glass - just enough to pick up some color. The aroma is smoked malt, cocoa and caramel. Taste is heavy on roasted, smoky malt. A little cocoa and caramel. Has a bit of bitter coffee on the finish. Leaves you with a little smoke in the aftertaste.
