Great Divide Colette ....

Tonight I am having a Colette Farmhouse Ale from Great Divide Brewing Company.  7.3% ABV is listed on the twelve ounce bottle.  The web site says it is available April-July.

This beer poured with a thin, almost white head.  The beer color is that of a cloudy lemonade.  The aroma has wheat, yeast, lemon and some sweetness.  Good carbonation.  The taste has all the highlights from the aroma, but adds in some spice and a fruitiness.  There is just a hint of the higher alcohol, but it goes mostly unnoticed.  Somewhat dry finish.  A bit of grassy aftertaste.  Refreshing.  This would make a great summer beer.
