Deep Ellum Farmhouse Wit ....

My beer for this evening is a Farmhouse Wit from Deep Ellum Brewing Company.  It is a specialty beer, not one of their year-round brews.

This beer poured with a medium to thicker, just off white head.  Beer color is a slightly hazy golden yellow.  The aroma has very appealing mix of wheat, citrus and yeast. In the taste, I am getting a good amount of wheat, with some citrus and fruit.  There is also some bitterness and spice to keep it interesting.  A little higher carbonation gives it a lot of mouth feel.  Medium bodied.  Fairly dry finish.
