Pumpkin Ale poured with a thin, not quite tan colored head. Beer color is a lighter orange-ish amber. Although not overpowering, the aroma is heavy on the spice. It is very reminiscent of pumpkin pie. The taste is malty and bready/grainy, then some of the pumpkin and spice comes in. Effervescent mouth feel. Mild "beer" aftertaste. Overall, I would describe this beer as similar to a simple lager, with some light pumpkin and spice added into the mix. I think it could use a little more pumpkin and spice.
