This beer poured with a thick, tan or a little more brown head. Beer color is a darker amber, leaning towards brown, with some definite red shading. The aroma is caramel, dark fruit, malt. The taste has toasted malt, caramel, spice, a little fruit, and a light bitter/sour quality that gives it some depth. Slightly bitter/sour aftertaste.
