Victory Prima Pils ....

Time for a third beer from Victory Brewing Company - a Prima Pils.  Twelve ounce bottle.  Their web site shows 5.3% ABV.  It is a German style pilsner.

The Prima Pils poured with a VERY thick, puffy, just barely off-white head.  The beer color is a pale yellow, very much like lemonade.  The aroma is of hops, and has some nice citrus.  This isn't your every day pilsner!  The hops really build on your taste buds, to the point it starts to get piney and bitter.  But a harsh bitterness never sets in, it just leaves a little bitter lingering on the back of your tongue.  There seems to be a nice amount of malt that cuts through some of the hops.  Some grapefruity citrus.  Mild to medium bodied, but a lot of flavor.
