Ska Pinstripe Red Ale ....

Tonight I will try a second beer from Ska Brewing Company.  I am a big fan of their Decadent Imperial IPA, so it's time to try some others, like their Pinstripe Red Ale.  Comes in a twelve ounce bottle.  Their web site shows 5.15% ABV and 42 ISUs (IBUs?).

Pinstripe poured with a medium, bone-to-cream colored head.  The beer's color is a darker honey, or maybe amber.  The aroma has fairly prominent hops, with some citrus. Mild to medium bodied.  There is a slight underlying sweetness that makes me think of honey.  Nice balance of hops and malts.  A bit of fruit on the finish.  Not much aftertaste, just a mild reminder of the overall beer.  Not a knockout beer, but smooth and very drinkable.
