This beer poured with a very, very thick bone-colored head. Beer color is a golden yellow. Somewhat cloudy (it is a bottle conditioned ale). Aroma has some yeasty wheat, and some real spice like cloves. The yeasty wheat and spice follow through to the taste from the aroma, and there is some sweetness as well. There is a little bitterness on the tail end of the sip, and a fairly dry finish. It leaves you with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
