This beer poured with a small, tan colored head. Beer color is mahogany. The aroma is malty and bready, with some spice and caramel. The taste starts out with some toasty malt, and a little spice. Then some hoppy bitterness builds mid-taste to the finish. A little warmth from the alcohol, but not really present in the taste. The aftertaste leaves you with a little of the sour/bitter.
