New Belgium Somersault ....

Today I am trying Somersault, a summer seasonal, from New Belgium Brewing Company.  The twelve ounce bottle lists 5.2% ABV.  The web site shows IBUs at 28.  Additions to this brew are ginger and apricot.

Somersault poured with a medium, off-white colored head.  Beer color is a medium yellow/gold.  The aroma has caramel sweetness, some fruit, spice.  Mild bodied.  Taste of malt, citrus, fruit and spice.  A little grassy.  Very little aftertaste.  Overall a very mild and light beer.
