This beer had a small, off white head. Beer color was a dark copper. The aroma was caramel, spice, vanilla and a hint of the hops. The taste was more of the same, starting off with caramel, spices, and notes from the barrel aging. Then towards the end of the sip, you get a lot from the hops with bitterness, citrus rind and pine. Warming. The aftertaste leaves some bitterness.
