Resin poured with a a small, bone colored head. Beer color is a mostly golden yellow. In the aroma I am getting more citrus (orange, grapefruit) than pine. The taste - there's the 'resin'; a strong, dry resinous pine note in the background all the way through the sip. Its not overpowering, but it is always present. There is also sweet malt, citrus and an almost floral quality. There is a hint of the alcohol, but not much considering the 9.1%. Not a lot of aftertaste, just some bitter and a little sweet. Overall a tasty, interesting beer that hits my taste for hops.
