Saint Arnold Homefront IPA ....

Tonight I will have a Homefront IPA from Saint Arnold Brewing Company.  This is a special release to raise funds for Operation Homefront, an organization that provides assistance to families of service members.  1 pint, 6 ounce bottle.  The web site shows 6.5% ABV and 50 IBUs.  

Homefront poured with a small to medium, slightly creamy colored head.  Beer color is a golden amber.  There is a small amount of carbonation.  Aroma is fairly mild, with some citrus (lemon, orange).  The taste has citrus, maybe a little more like grapefruit, as well as some resinous pine.  Some sweetness.  Not overly complex, but a nice hoppy IPA like I like.  Medium bodied.  Slight bitter aftertaste.
