Alaskan Summer ....

Tonight I am having Summer, a Kolsch-style ale, from Alaskan Brewing Company.  This is a seasonal release.  Twelve ounce bottle.  The web site shows 5.3% ABV and 18 IBUs.

Summer poured with a very thin, off-white head.  The beer color is a clear, medium yellow.  Aroma has some wheat, a little bready and light fruity/floral note.  Mild bodied.  The taste is malty, with some wheat and sweetness.  Hardly any bitterness.  Slightly dry finish.  Light and refreshing - this is a nice summer beer.
