The Coopers poured with a fairly thick head, which was a darker brown. There is a note of coffee to the aroma. Color is blackish brown - another one that light won't penetrate in the glass. There was a fair amount of sediment. The flavor is mainly roasted malty and there is a heavy, foamy mouth feel. Strength is medium to strong. There is a slight bitterness, with a medium aftertaste of malt & bitter.
